PSEB Punjab Board 8th Class Result 2025 (OUT) Highlights: Scorecards released, girls outperform boys

Punjab School Education Minister S Harjot Singh Bains congratulated students of PSEB Class 8 on their results.The Education Minister expressed happiness and contentment over the outstanding feat of Puneet Verma and Navjot Kaur for securing 100% marks. These students secured first and second positions, respectively.

Wishing the promoted students all the best for the future, Bains motivated the other students to work harder and follow the toppers.

Puneet Verma, from Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School, A-225, Chief Khalsa Diwan, Model Town, Hoshiarpur has obtained the first position by securing 100 percent marks.

Students who appeared for the exam can now check their PSEB Class 8 results 2025 on the official website at pseb.ac.in. In order to check and download the PSEB Class 8 marksheets, candidates are required to enter their roll number and name in the result portal.

The PSEB board website - pseb.ac.in is the official website, which will have the Punjab Class 8 result link. Last year, the PSEB Class 8 result link was also made available at indiaresults.com website.

The Class 8 PSEB result was delcared on April 30 in 2024, while in 2023 and 2022, the Punjab board Class 8 results were announced on April 29 and May 7 respectively.

Harnoorpreet Kaur of Govt. Sr secondary School and Bhai Rupa from Bathinda district had topped the state with 100 percent marks in Class 8 exam last year. Gurleen Kaur of New Flowers Public Sr Secondary School, Amritsar stood second in the state with 99.67 per cent marks and Armandeep Singh of Gov. Elementary School, Ratoke, Sangrur stood third in the state with 99.5 percent marks in PSEB Class 8 exam.

To pass the examination, students must achieve a minimum score of 33 per cent. After the official announcement of results, students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for result scrutiny. The re-evaluation process requires a fee of Rs 1,000 per answer sheet, along with a processing fee of Rs 500 for viewing the evaluated answer sheets.

The PSEB examinations were held between February 19 and March 7, 2025. Last year, the PSEB Punjab Board administered the Class 8 examinations conducted on March 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 27.
