PSEB 8th Class Result 2025 Highlights: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on April 4 announced the results for the Punjab Board PSEB Class 8. Puneet Verma, from Shri Guru Harkrishan Public School, A-225, Chief Khalsa Diwan, Model Town, Hoshiarpur has obtained the first position by securing 100 percent marks. Students who took the Punjab 8th board exams will now be able to download their results from the official website, pseb.ac.in. The Class 8 PSEB result was delcared on April 30 in 2024, while in 2023 and 2022, the Punjab board Class 8 results were announced on April 29 and May 7 respectively.
As per PSEB’s evaluation criteria, students must secure a minimum of 33% overall, combining theory and Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). However, they must also obtain at least 25% in the theory component of each subject. For Class 8, students must appear for a total of nine subjects, out of which passing all subjects in Group A is mandatory. While students must take subjects from Group B, their marks and grades for these subjects will be reflected on their final certificate.
Harnoorpreet Kaur of Govt. Sr secondary School and Bhai Rupa from Bathinda district had topped the state with 100 percent marks in Class 8 exam last year. Gurleen Kaur of New Flowers Public Sr Secondary School, Amritsar stood second in the state with 99.67 per cent marks and Armandeep Singh of Gov. Elementary School, Ratoke, Sangrur stood third in the state with 99.5 percent marks in PSEB Class 8 exam.
Last year, the PSEB Punjab Board conducted the Class 8 examinations on March 7, 11, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 27. The board recorded an overall pass percentage of 98.31% for the Class 8 exams.
