RRB NTPC 2024-25 Exam date, admit card: The Railway Recruitment Board is expected to announce the exam dates for RRB NTPC 2024 soon. All registered candidates will be able to check the exam schedule for both undergraduate and graduate-level positions on the official websites of their respective regional RRBs, where they submit their applications, once the schedule is released.
The registration process for undergraduate-level positions was open between September 21 and October 20, while the registration for graduate-level positions commenced on September 14 and concluded on October 13. However, before there is any update on the exam, let’s check what are the stages of the examination:
The RRB NTPC selection process involves multiple stages, including the first stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), second stage CBT, typing skill test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) (depending on the post), and document verification or medical examination.
–Computer-based aptitude tests are for candidates applying for station master (SM) posts. Candidates will have to qualify in each of the test batteries of CBAT for consideration for the post of SM. The CBAT will have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi. There shall be no negative marking in CBAT.
Once the exam calendar is released, the Board will release the city intimation slip and admit cards for the candidates.
— Typing skill test for senior clerk cum typist, junior account assistant cum typist. The candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on a personal computer only without editing tools and a spell check facility.
— For goods train manager, senior commercial cum ticket supervisor, there shall be two stage CBTs followed by document verification and medical examination.
Shortlisting of candidates for various stages shall be based on the normalised marks obtained by them whenever CBT is conducted in multiple sessions for the same syllabus.
Once the examination is done, the Board will release the answer keys that will be open for objections followed by the final answer key. Candidates then will have to wait for results and cut-off. Only the shortlisted candidates will be allowed to join the positions after document verification and medical.
