RRB NTPC New Vacancy 2025 Notification Out: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has approved 8,875 vacancies under the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) for 2025. Of these, as many as 5,817 posts are for graduates and 3,058 are for undergraduates.

Among graduate-level posts in RRB NTPC recruitment, the largest share is for goods train manager (3,423 vacancies), followed by Junior accounts assistant-cum-typist (921) and station master (615). Other posts include senior clerk-cum-typist (638), chief commercial-cum-ticket supervisor (161), and traffic assistant in metro railway (59).

For undergraduate candidates, the maximum openings are for commercial-cum-ticket clerk (2,424 vacancies), followed by accounts clerk-cum-typist (394), junior clerk-cum-typist (163), and trains clerk (77).

The Railway Board has directed zonal railways and production units to take immediate steps for placing final indents in the HRMS system, ensuring reservation norms for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories. The vacancies will be filled through the Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) to be issued by the Railway Recruitment Board in due course.

Candidates who wish to appear for the RRB NTPC exam 2025 for the above posts must fulfil the eligibility criteria. The RRB NTPC eligibility requirement will be released by the recruitment board on its official website along with the notification.

While the vacancies have been announced, the application dates and other dates related to the CEN are yet to be announced.

The eligibility criteria for all types of posts will be different, and candidates must meet the eligibility according to the post they are applying for. Candidates must be 18 years old to be considered eligible for applying to the RRB NTPC exam. The maximum age differs for both undergraduate and graduate posts. There also exists relaxations for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Additionally, candidates must meet a minimum standard of physical fitness and typing efficiency, if applicable to the specific position. It must be noted that only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form.
