Delhi University's Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has completed the placement season 2023-24 with over 500 offers being made by more than 135 companies in over 15 sectors. As per the college, these sectors include consulting, finance, startup, tax and advisory, FMCG, insurance, and more. This time, SRCC recorded a 29 per cent increase in the number of recruiters. The highest package awarded this year is Rs 35 lakh per annum, Rs 8.63 lakh per annum is the average and Rs 7.15 lakh per annum is the median package. The total gross value is around Rs 43.42 crore. The average CTC of the top 10 percentile is Rs 19.62 lakh per annum, Rs 17.01 lakh per annum for the top 20 percentile and Rs 15.06 lakh per annum for the top 10 percentile. For the internships, this time there is a 67 per cent increase in the highest stipend, and a 122 per cent increase in the average stipend, and a 99 per cent increase in the gross value of internships. The highest stipend received this year is Rs 3.67 lakh per month, and Rs 40,000 per month is the average stipend. More than 115 offers for internships were made at SRCC this year. Some of the main recruiters included BCG Bain & Company, McKinsey & Company, Kearney, Bank of America, L.E.K. Nomura, Deutsche Bank, Blackstone, FTI, DBS Bank, Barclays, Accenture, S&P Global, HSBC, D.E. Shaw & Co, ZS, Hindustan Unilever Limited, American Express, Deloitte, Microsoft, KPMG, PwC, EY, Premji Invest, HP, Standard Chartered, Cobblestone Energy, SIG (Susquehanna International Group), Susquehanna, YCP Auctus, Grant Thornton, Samagra, Trinity Wells, Google, Wells Fargo, Capital Mutual Fund, Houlihan Lokey, Air India. As per the information shared by SRCC, 10 per cent of the batch comprised of BA (Hons) Economics, while the other 80 per cent was BCom (Hons), and the total diversity for the batch was 46:54 men:women.
