TN HSE +1 Result 2024 (Out) Updates: 91.17% pass Tamil Nadu Class 11, marksheet link at tnresults.nic.in

Among all the streams -- science, arts, commerce and vocational, science stream has performed the best.

The pass percentage in the science stream is 94.31 per cent, in commerce, it is 86.93 per cent and in arts, the pass percentage is 72.89 per cent. The pass percentage in the vocational stream is 78.72 per cent.

The Tamil Nadu Class 11 result links are available at the TN HSE +1 official websites -- tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. In addition to the TN HSE+1 2024 official websites, students who appeared for the exams can also check the TN plus 1 results at the DigiLocker app.

Coimbatore district has topped with 96.02 per cent students passing from the district alone. With 95.56 per cent pass percentage, Erode district is ranked at the second and Tirupur district is at the third with 95.23 per cent passing percentage. The top 5 districts from last year were Tirupur: 96.38 per cent students pass, Erode: 96.18 per cent students pass, Coimbatore: 95.73 per cent students pass, Namakkal: 95.60 per cent students pass, and Tuticorin: 95.43 per cent.

Apart from the tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in websites, students who appeared for the exams can also check the TN HSE +1 results at the DigiLocker app.

In order to clear the exam, candidates need to secure at least 35 marks out of 100 in all subjects. For those subjects having 70 marks in theory, candidates need to secure 15 in theory and a total of 35 marks. There is no minimum marks requirement in the practical or internal section.

This year, 7.43 per cent more female students have passed the TN HSE + 1 results than that of their male counterparts. The pass percentage among the female students is 94.69 per cent and 87.26 per cent in male students.

Last year, 94.36 per cent of girls passed the TN HSE +1 exam as compared to 85.99 per cent of boys passing the exams.

Tamil Nadu HSE +1 Result 2024: In 241 government schools, 100 per cent students have passed.

In addition to the tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in websites, students can also check the TN HSE +1 results at the DigiLocker app.

The overall pass percentage for general students has been registered at 91.17 per cent this year. A total of 8,11,172 students appeared in the TN HSE +2 general exams this year and 7,39,539 passed. Last year, a total of 7,76,844 students appeared for plus one exams, out of which 7,06,413 students passed.

In the 11th TN HSE +1 general examination this year, as many as 8,418 students have scored 100 marks in at least one subject.

In Tamil Nadu HSE +1 results 2024 announced today, the pass percentage among the jail inmates is 90.90 per cent. Out of 187 inmates who appeared for the Class 11 TN HSE public examination, as many as 170 have passed.

91.27per cent students with disabilities have passed the TN HSE 11th general exams. Out of 8,221 total differently-abled students appearing in the TN HSE +1 exam, as many as 7,504 students passed. 

The pass percentage in science subjects is 94.31 per cent.

In the TN HSE +1 result declared today, more girl students have passed. This year, 7.43 per cent more female students have passed the TN HSE + 1 results than that of their male counterparts.

The overall pass percentage has increased this year. The pass percentage in TN HSE +1 result is 91.17 per cent. Last year, it was 90.93 per cent and in 2022, it was 90.07 per cent.

The TNDGE has activated the result link at tnresults.nic.in. Students will have to use their registration number and date of birth to get the TN HS 1 marks.

Students can access their TN Class 11 provisional marksheets from the official websites --  tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. The original Tamil Nadu Class 11 marksheets can be collected from the schools later.

Students who are not satisfied with the TN HSE 1 exams or have failed in one or two subjects will have the option to appear in the supplementary exams. The TN HSE plus 1 supplementary exam dates will be announced after the declaration of TN Class 11 result 2024.

The passing percentage improved last year by 0.85 per cent in +1 results. The board recorded a passing percentage of 90.93 per cent last year which was higher than 2022's 90.07 per cent.

The TN Class 11 result will also be released at the DigiLocker platform. Students will have to first register at the website to check and download the TN results 2024 HSE +1.

The official website tnresults.nic.in will soon make the result link live at 9:30 am. "TN HSE(+1) Results is expected on Tuesday, 14th May 2024 @ 09:30 A.M," a statement on the result website said.

The Tamil Nadu HSE +1 result link will be made live at tnresults.nic.in. Students will be required to login with their roll numbers to check and download the TN Class 11 result.

The official website - tnresults.nic.in 2024 will make the TN Class 11 result link live at 9:30 am.

Candidates are required to log in to the websites - tnresults.nic.in 2024 or dge.tn.gov.in and click on the ‘download’ result link. Enter the registration number or roll number, after which the result will appear on the screen.

The original TNDGE 2024 marksheets will not be released today. Students will have to collect them from the respective schools later.

TNDGE has adopted a no-detention policy for Class 11 which enables a student who are unable to clear the exams to take the same later in Class 12. The Tamil Nadu Class 11 no-detention policy was introduced in 2018.

Last year, students also received their TN Class 11 results via SMS, in their mobile number registered with the board. This time, too, the TN board will likely send the TN HSE +1 results of students to their registered mobile numbers. TN HSE +1 students can also find their results at national information center of all district collectorates and central- branch libraries.

Since 2018, the Tamil Nadu HSE board has stopped 'advertising' or declaring the names of the top ranked students. Instead, it announces the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. According to the DGE, the move is aimed at reducing 'unhealthy' competition.

The board has provided two websites to check result -- dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. If one crashes, students can check the other one. Moreover, the TN Class 11 results 2024 will also be made available at DigiLocker.

The Tamil Nadu Class 11 result 2024 date and time is May 14 at 9:30 am. Once the TN +1 results are announced in the press conference, students will be able to check their TN HSE +1 scorecards using roll number and roll code. Students will get their scores on the following websites — tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in and results.digilocker.gov.in.

As per the official announcement, the result for the Class 11 board exams will be announced on May 14 at 9:30 am. This year, the Tamil Nadu class 11 exams were held between March 4 to March 25 and more than seven lakh students appeared in the Tamil Nadu +1 exams.

Students who fail to qualify the TN class 11 exams will now have to appear for the supplementary exams dates of which will be announced by the board soon. 

A candidate needs to score a minimum of 35 marks in all six subjects out of 100 to pass the Tamil Nadu plus one exams. If a candidate is not satisfied with the marks awarded they can apply revaluation later.
