Telangana Board Inter Exam 2025: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has decided to award full marks to students who have attempted question 7 of the second-year English exam. Such students will get four marks for the question. The Board decided in a meeting with subject experts that question 7 had printing inconsistencies in some papers, which has caused certain students to be at a disadvantage.
The BSE Telangana examinations started on March 5, and will continue till March 24 for IPE’s first year while for the second year, the board exams are from March 6 to March 25. For both first-year and second-year students, the TS IPE examinations will be conducted in the morning shift from 9 am to noon.
In 2024 board exams, a total of 9,81,000 students appeared for the IPE exams. The overall pass percentage in TS inter 1st year was 60.01 per cent, while it was 64.19 per cent in the TS inter 2nd year exams 2024.
Last year, a total of 1,86,025 students obtained Grade A in the Telangana Board first-year exam. Following this, 68,985 students secured Grade B, 23,968 candidates obtained Grade C, and lastly, 8,283 students scored Grade D.
From the total, in the TS inter 2nd year exams, as many as 16,198 students were placed in the compartment category. Additionally, 50 candidates were booked for malpractice, with 48 from the general course and two from the vocational course. The TS supplementary exams began on May 24.
The best performing district in 2024 results was Rangareddy for TS inter 1st and in TS inter 2nd, the best performing district is Mulugu.
In the TS intermediate exams 2023, a total of 4,82,675 appeared in the first year exams of which 2,97,741 passed taking the pass percentage at 61.68 per cent. While in the IPE second year, 4,65,478 appeared for the exams, of which 2,95,550 passed. The pass percentage was recorded at 63.49 per cent, which was a decrease from 2022’s 67.16 per cent. Last year, the TS IPE 2nd year exams were held between February 29 and March 2, 2024.
