The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) on June 25 released the rank list for admission to UG programmes for the 2025-26 academic session. “The TNAU 2025-26 rank list is provisional and subject to change after verification of original certificates,” a statement on the TNAU rank list released by the university read.

In cases where more than one student has the same aggregate marks in the general rank list, the inter se merit among such students shall be determined in the order of priority as specified below:

1. Marks out of 50 in Mathematics. If a student has not studied Mathematics, marks out of 50 in Biology or (Botany + Zoology)
2. Marks out of 50 in Physics
3. Marks out of 50 in Chemistry
4. Date of Birth – Eldest first
5. Random Number

In cases where more than one student has got the same aggregate marks in the vocational
rank list, the inter se merit among such students shall be determined in the order of
priority as follows:
1. Marks in Biology
2. Marks In Theory Subject
3. Marks in Practical Subject
4. Marks in Fourth subject
5. Date of Birth (Eldest First) &
6. Random Number
