TS SET 2024: Osmania University has rescheduled the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET)  2024 due to the overlap with the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2024). The TS SET 2024 exam will now take place on September 10, 11, 12, and 13.

Earlier the examination was scheduled to be conducted on August 28, 29, 30, and 31. Because of re-scheduling, the University will re-open the TS SET 2024 application correction window on August 23 and 24.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications can make necessary corrections by logging in with their application number and password on the official website – telanganaset.org.

The hall tickets for TS SET 2024 will be available from September 2. The admit card will include essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, time, venue, photograph, and signature.

TS SET 2024: Eligibility criteria for candidates 

– Candidates must hold a master’s degree or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 55 per cent marks. Reserved category candidates are eligible for a 5 per cent relaxation.

– Those currently pursuing a master’s degree, those who have completed their final year exams and are awaiting results, or those whose exams have been delayed, are also eligible to apply.

– Candidates with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree who completed their master’s degree by September 19, 1991, qualify for a 5 per cent relaxation in aggregate marks for the SET.

Exam pattern for TS SET 2024

The TS SET 2024 exam will be divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 and the total duration will be of 3 hours. Paper 1 will have 50 questions, while Paper 2 will include 100 questions. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks, and both papers will consist entirely of objective-type questions.
