TSPSC Group 1 Results 2025: The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has announced the group 1 results. Candidates who appeared for their TSPSC Group 1 exam (notification no. 02/2024) can check their results on the official website: tspsc.gov.in by submitting the roll number and other login credentials. In its recent notification, the Commission has voiced concerns over misinformation spreading online about the group one main results. To clear the doubt over the evaluation of the group, one main answer, the Commission has released a detailed information for the same. TSPSC Group 1: Candidates' performance The TSPSC Group 1 mains exam was conducted from October 21 to 21. The exam took place each day from 2 PM to 5 PM. There were seven descriptive papers in the main examination. According to reports, 21,093 candidates appeared for the Group 1 Mains examination. Here's how the evaluation process is carried out: - Before the process is started, the Commission detaches the OMR barcode sheet so that the examiner or any other person at any point of time cannot see it. A double evaluation is done. -After the first evaluation, the marks will be detached, and the script will be forwarded for a second evaluation. - Number of evaluators used per subject: English: 33 evaluators General Essay: 57 History & Culture: 26 Geography: 22 Indian Society: 22 Constitution: 25 Governance: 23 Economic Development: 38 Science & Technology: 21 Biotechnology: 26 Data Interpretation: 18 Telangana Movement & State Formation: 40 - Chief examiner committees were formed with senior professors from reputed universities. These evaluators have prior experience with UPSC examinations. The marks of the candidates were written on the barcode sheet assigned to each candidate. - Data finalisation was completed by February 15 to ensure transparency before releasing marks. Provisional marks were declared on March 10. The delay was due to the model code of conduct for MLC elections. Meanwhile, earlier, candidates were protesting against the GO seeking rescheduling of the examinations on the ground that SCs (scheduled castes), STs (scheduled tribes) and backward classes suffer under its reservation provisions. Kapil Sibal submitted to the Supreme Court that the aspirants would lose out on the chance to appear in the exam being conducted for the first time in the state. The Supreme Court then refused to stay the examination conducted by the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) to fill up 563 Grade-I posts in various government departments, saying such an order will lead to “chaos”.
