The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has announced the written exam dates against the group 2 services (general recruitment) notification. The exams will be held on December 15 and 16 in two shifts. The TSPSC will release the hall tickets for the group 2 written exams one week before the start of the examinations. Paper Number Paper / Subject Exam Date Time Paper-I General Studies and General Abilities December 15 10 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II History, Polity and Society December 15 3 pm to 5.30 pm Paper-III Economy and Development December 16 10 am to 12:30 pm Paper-IV Telangana Movement and State Formation December 16 3 pm to 5.30 pm Those candidates who qualify in the written examination in order of merit will be called for the verification of certificates, community and category wise for the vacancies available as required. The qualifying marks for selection of the candidates belonging to OC, sports, men and EWS is not less than 40 per cent; for BCs, it is not less than 35 per cent and for the SCs, STs and PH, the qualifying marks for selection is not less than 30 per cent. The appearance in all the paper/papers at the written examination is compulsory. Absence in any of the paper/papers will automatically render his/her candidature for disqualification, the TSPSC said.
