In the UP Board High School 2025 results, Yash Pratap Singh secured the first rank with 97.83 per cent marks and in the UPMSP Class 12 intermediate results, Mahak Jaiswal secured the top position with 97.20 per cent marks. The pass percentage this year, in the UP board High School result, is 90.11 per cent, up from 89.55 per cent last year and in the UPMSP inter result, the pass percentage is 81.15 per cent. Last year, the UP board Class 12 pass percentage was 82.60 per cent.
UP Board UPMSP 10th 12th Result 2025 : How to Check
This year, as many as 25,45,815 students appeared for the High School exams and 25,98,560 lakh students took the UP board intermediate examination from 8,140 exam centres across the state. UPMSP held the exams for 51,44,375 students in just 13 days this year and completed the evaluation in 15 days, the board said while announcing the UPMSP result in a press conference.

The UP Board had declared the results for Class 10 and Class 12 exams on April 20, 2024, via a press conference at the Prayagraj headquarters. Alongside the results, important metrics such as pass percentages, details of toppers, and supplementary exam schedules were also released.
In 2024, around 55 lakh students registered for the UP Board exams, including both Class 10 and Class 12. The Class 10 exams had 29,82,055 participants, of which 22,93,467 passed. For Class 12, out of 24,52,830 students, 20,26,067 cleared the exams.
The UP Board started evaluating answer sheets for Class 10 and 12 exams on March 19, 2025. A total of 1,34,723 teachers were appointed to evaluate nearly three crore answer sheets across 261 centres in the state.
Due to the massive public turnout for Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, the Uttar Pradesh government had postponed the board examinations scheduled on February 24 in the city. This decision was taken to ensure public safety and ease logistical issues arising from the religious congregation, which draws crores of devotees each year to the holy city.
The UP Board Class 12 practical exams for 2025 were conducted in two phases. The first phase, from February 1 to 8, covered divisions like Meerut, Kanpur, and Prayagraj. The second phase, from February 9 to 16, included regions such as Lucknow, Agra, and Ayodhya. This revised schedule followed an earlier notification which had initially placed practicals between January 23 and 31.
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) had conducted the Class 10 and 12 board exams from February 24 to March 12, 2025. Class 10 exams began with Hindi and health care papers, while Class 12 students appeared for military science and Hindi on day one. Students failing in more than two subjects will be deemed unsuccessful/ fail in the UP Board 10th exams, while others have the opportunity to appear for compartment exams. Those anticipating low marks in the UP Board intermediate exams can apply for supplementary exams following the results’ announcement.
In recent years, female candidates have consistently achieved higher pass rates in UP Board exams. In 2024, they outperformed male candidates by a margin of 7.35%. This mirrors previous trends — in 2023, girls scored a pass rate of 93.34%, and in 2022, they recorded 91.69% versus 85.25% by boys. Similar outcomes were seen in earlier years including 2020, 2019, and 2018.
