UP Scholarship 2024-25: The Social Welfare Department of the Uttar Pradesh government has introduced scholarships for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric for the academic year 2024-2025 at scholarship.up.gov.in. The application for the scholarship has been open since July and will end on December 31. It is for those students who got the scholarship last academic year but now want to apply again for the academic session 24-25. Even if it is for a fresh or renewal application, students will have to register again using login credentials. What is the eligibility criteria? - The family earnings of the household for a general, OBC, or minority student should be Rs 2 lakh while for SC and ST, it should be Rs 2.5 lakh. - The candidate must have passed the last examination he or she enrolled for. - A valid caste certificate should be issued for the student from a competent authority along with an Aadhaar card. What is the application process? There are various stages of the application process registration, Aadhaar authentication, followed by form submission, verification of the institutes through which candidates applied, scrutiny, and verification of the student by the district welfare committee and then funds will be disbursed through Aadaar-based authentication.
