UPSC CDS 1 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the Combined Defence Services results on Monday at its official website. This year, 237 candidates made it to the final results and will start their journey at various defence institutes, including the Indian Military Academy (IMA), the Indian Naval Academy (INA), and the Air Force Academy. Candidates can check the results at upsc.gov.in.

Observing the list, of the 237 shortlisted candidates, 158 have qualified for the IMA, 44 for INA, and 34 for Air Force Academy, as mentioned in the list. Under the IMA list, Pratik Ganguly ranked first followed by Ankit, and Avikesh Chhillar.

UPSC CDS I 2024: Steps to check

Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the “Result: Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2024” link on the homepage.

Step 3: Download the PDF of UPSC CDS Result 2024 that opens in a new tab.

Step 4: Look for your roll number in the PDF and save it for future reference.

For the Indian Naval Academy, Aditya Jha secured the first spot followed by Shantanu Sharma and Pandey Rohit Ravindrakumar. For the Air Force Academy, Harshit led the list followed by Aditya Jha and Shantanu Sharma.

The Commission had recommended 1954 candidates for IMA, 586 for INA and 628 for AFA for written test for admission to various defence institutes. The number of candidates who finally qualified is those after the SSB test conducted by respective Army headquarters.
