‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ collected a whopping Rs 184 crore in the first week of its release and has surpassed the first week collections of Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’. (Read: Salman Khan says I Love you too to his little fan)
The Salman Khan film has been creating many records. According to trade expert Taran Adarsh, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the second Salman Khan film to cross Rs 200 cr mark. His last year’s Eid release ‘Kick’ was the first one. (See Pics: 10 things you didnt know about Harshaali)
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which had collected Rs 169 cr till Wednesday added Rs 15 crore in its kitty taking the total to Rs 184 crore in the first week of its release itself.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is also Salman Khan’s third highest grosser after the hits ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Kick.’
Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie also features Harshaali Malhotra who is playing the role of a girl named Munni, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. (Read review of Bajrangi Bhaijaan
