Rekha left the audience swooning with her performance at IIFA 2024.
Last night, the who’s who of Bollywood, including Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Nora Fatehi, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday, among others, rocked the IIFA 2024 stage with their performances.
Rekha left the audience swooning with her performance on the Guide song “Piya Tose Naina Lage Re”. Rekha was seen dressed up in a pink Anarkali and golden jewellery.
Hosts Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar were also seen setting the stage on fire with their dance on “Jhoome Jo Pathaan”. Shah Rukh and Vicky tried their best to keep the audience entertained with their dance moves, even dancing to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Pushpa song “Oo Antava”. SRK also tried to copy Vicky’s “Tauba Tauba” steps, while the two matched steps to SRK’s “Mere Mehboob”.
The night also saw performances by Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Shahid made a power-packed entry on a bike. Shahid’s performance was made extra special as Prabhudheva joined him on the stage and the duo danced to the “Muqabla” song. Shahid’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya co-star Kriti Sanon also joined him on stage. Anil Kapoor too shook legs with Shahid.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, meanwhile, performed the new song “Bonita” at the awards show. Nora Fatehi, Janhvi Kapoor and Ananya Panday also wowed the audience at the event.
IIFA 2024 kick-started on September 27 with IIFA Utsavam, an event dedicated to Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada cinema, while Day 2 was all about Bollywood. IIFA 2024 will conclude on September 29 with IIFA Rocks, where Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will perform live for the audience.
