Actor-filmmaker Rohit Roy, who had last directed one film in the anthology “Dus Kahaniyaan”, has penned a new script and hopes his elder brother and actor Ronit Roy “likes his part”.
“Ok couldn’t resist tweeting this one…Just starting to narrate my script to @RonitBoseRoy…Nervous n excited! Hope he likes his part,” Rohit, who helmed the “Rice Plate” story from “Dus Kahaniyaan”, tweeted on Friday.
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi seemed excited about the news, and urged Ronit to take on the role.
She tweeted: “@rohitroy500 @RonitBoseRoy yay! Yay! You are finally making a film! Ronit main Rohit ki sifarish karti hoon aap se. Zaroor kariyega inki film! (You must do his film, Ronit).”
To that, Rohit responded: “Yayyyyy!! Iske baad Ronit kya koi inkaar nahi kar payega. (Now after this, Ronit won’t be able to turn it down).”
Rohit is an actor himself, having worked in both TV and films, while Ronit gained prominence with TV show “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” and “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”. In films, Ronit has showcased his talent in “Udaan”, “Ugly” and “2 States”.
