Sachiin Joshi to play Aditya’s role in Telugu version of ‘Aashiqui 2’

In the Telugu remake of ‘Aashiqui 2’, actor Sachiin Joshi will reprise the role played by Aditya Roy Kapur in the Hindi version.

Newcomers Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer blockbuster film ‘Aashiqui 2’ will now be made in Telugu and producer Bhushan Kumar has given the remake rights of the film to Sachiin Joshi’s production house. The musical will be jointly produced by Joshi and Bandla Ganesh.

“We have sold the remake rights of ‘Aashiqui 2’ to Sachiin Joshi’s company who is getting into producing Telugu films. Normally, as producers we buy remake rights of south films, but I am happy that this time a Hindi movie will be remade in Telugu. I’m very proud of ‘Aashiqui 2’,” Bhushan Kumar said.

Sachiin Joshi has worked in Hindi films like ‘Aazaan’, ‘Mumbai Mirror’ and his recent release was ‘Jackpot’, starring Sunny Leone, Naseeruddin Shah.
