Shah Rukh Khan and Mika might not have had shared many hit Bollywood songs, but the two share a great friendship. In a recent interview, Mika said that he once gave his luxury car to King Khan so that he could leave a crowded location. The singer recalled that he has fond memories of the car, as SRK once drove it after Hrithik Roshan’s birthday party. He shared that since there was no space for the driver, Shah Rukh took over driving duties, and Ranveer Singh sat in the trunk.
Talking to Pinkvilla, Mika said that Shah Rukh kept his Hummer for three months afterwards. He then recalled a story about Hrithik’s birthday party. “He wanted that all of us should go on a ride in his Rolls-Royce. It was 5 in the morning. I said we will only sit in the car that can accommodate all of us,” he recalled and added, “We went and we immediately realised that we couldn’t all fit in Hrithik’s car.”
At this time, they decided to go for a ride in the Hummer. “I said if there is a driver along with us, we won’t be able to sit. Shah Rukh asked, ‘Who will drive?’ I said, ‘You’. He asked again, ‘I will drive?’ I said, ‘We will only fit if you drive’. He is such a sweet guy. He took the Hummer’s keys (and drove). I still have that Hummer because he touched that car,” he recalled. Mika said that Shah Rukh, Gauri Khan, Sanjay Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Hrithik and him were all in the car when Ranveer Singh came running out and asked where he could squeeze in. “I said you sit in the trunk. I have that video but I will never share it with anyone. All of us went to Shah Rukh’s house and we partied there till 7-8 am. I have a selfie from that morning,” he said.

In the same chat, Mika praised SRK and shared, “He is one of the best actors and a gentlemen. I always wear this ring (points to his finger), which is worth Rs 50 lakh. I have gifted similar rings to Amitabh Bachchan and Gurdas Maan too, but the first person I gave one to was SRK. I wanted to do something for the three of them. But I had nothing else to offer them, so I gifted them rings. My ring might not have even mattered to him since he could own rings worth Rs 50 crore or more. But he is very sweet and thanked me for the gift.”
