Shah Rukh Khan is considered one of the biggest movie stars Indian cinema has ever produced. However, the actor faced a lean phase when his films Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017) and Zero (2018) massively failed at the box office. This prompted the actor to take a break from his acting career. This sabbatical became prolonged due to the pandemic, and after nearly five years, SRK finally made a comeback to the big screen with two blockbusters, Pathaan and Jawan, which went on to collectively earn over Rs 2000 crore globally. Now, in an exclusive conversation with SCREEN, Shah Rukh Khan's friend, producer Anand Pandit, implied that SRK regained former glory after consulting with him about 'vaastu'. In 2023, a video of Shah Rukh Khan from Anand Pandit's 60th birthday was shared online. In the video, the actor said, "He is my spiritual guru. He understands vaastu, so when one of my films doesn't do well, I call him over to change things up in my house. I say, 'Sir, meri pichli wali picture chali nahi, kuch kar do', and he suggests moving a mirror around. But fortunately, my films have been working." We adjusted the energy that was required at his place. And it worked for him. He is such a humble man and a great guy that he publicly acknowledged that, and I am grateful it." When asked for which films SRK approached him, Anand Pandit shared, "It was Pathaan and Jawan both." In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan also starred in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. That film received mediocre reviews, but still managed to earn over Rs 470 crore globally, making it a commercial success. Shah Rukh Khan is now shooting for his action film, King, also starring his daughter Suhana Khan. The film's cast includes Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and others.
