Deepika’s Lafangey Parindey to release this August

This is Sarkar’s second film under the YRF banner. He previously directed Abhishek Bachchan-Rani Mukherjee starrer Laaga Chunari Mein Daag,which did not do well at the box office.

Sarkar debuted as a director with Vidya Balan – Saif Ali Khan starrer Pareenita in 2005,which was a modern take on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel of the same name.
