Johnny Depp starts a recording label

Depp has founded Unison Music and hired talent scouts to seek new talent.

Johnny Depp,who dropped out of school to become a rockstar but eventually had to settle for an acting career,is planning to start his own recording label.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has already found Unison Music and hired some talent scouts to seek out new talent in London,The Sun online reported.

“Johnny has always been passionate about music. He is taking a really hands-on approach to signing acts. Obviously he can’t get to as many gigs as he would like,but he has got a good team around him and will personally vet any signings that they make,” a source said.

Even during his successful acting career,the 47-year-old star remained attached to music and even played instruments for some of his films’ soundtracks.

Depp who played with many ‘garage bands during his childhood,recently funded studio time of the British band “Babybird” and even played on several of their tracks during the production a new record.
