Legal wrangles catch hold of Sanjay Dutt again!
Dutt's statements return to haunt him,with a court hauling him for remark he made at a rally in 2009.
A local court has issued bailable warrant against actor Sanjay Dutt for allegedly violating the model code of conduct by making communal remarks in an election rally during 2009 Lok Sabha polls.
Judicial Magistrate Krishna Kumar issued the warrant on Saturday while hearing the matter and fixed May 28 as the next date of hearing.
Dutt,during the campaigning for Samajwadi Party candidate Arshad Jamal in the district,had said in a meeting that he was given third degree when he was in police custody as his mother was a Muslim.
Dutt was referring to his days in jail in Mumbai when he was arrested for allegedly keeping prohibited fire arms.
