Rana Daggubati replaces Abhishek in RGV’s ‘Department’
Telugu actor Daggubati has made his Bollywood debut with recently released 'Dum Maro Dum'.
Citing date issues,filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has announced that he is replacing Abhishek Bachchan with Rana Daggubati in his new film ‘Department’.
“Due to date problems to match combinations with other actors I am going ahead with Rana Daggubati instead of Abhishek Bachchan in Department,” Varma tweeted on Saturday.
Incidentally,Telugu actor Daggubati has made his Bollywood debut with recently released ‘Dum Maro Dum’,starring alongside junior Bachchan.
Daggubati plays a Goan musician in the Rohan Sippy-directed film,a role which was initially meant for Abhishek,who is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Players’ these days.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly playing the lead role of a gangster turned politician in ‘Department’.
