When I was chosen by Aditya Chopra for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,he told me,“We chose you because you can act and not because beauty is your USP.” I’ve always found solace in his words and have always given more preference to acting well than looking good on screen. Being beautiful is important for films since it is a visual medium,but the women I love have been such stellar performers that it adds to their beauty,such as Nargisji,Kajol and Rani Mukerji. They are all powerful actors and that’s what I aspire to achieve in my career.
