‘Ground Floor’ and ‘Cougar Town’ star Bill Lawrence is adapting the hit action movie franchise for television with Blake McCormick, reported Deadline.
Foo, 32, will star in the ‘Rush Hour’ pilot as Detective Lee, a character played by Jackie Chan in the movies.
Detective Lee is a Hong Kong cop assigned to investigate a case in Los Angeles with a brash and trouble-seeking US detective named Carter (originally played Chris Tucker).
Foo got his start as a stunt performer in films like ‘Batman Begins’, eventually going on to star in ‘Street Fighter: Legacy’ and ‘Tekken’.
