Actor Eddie Redmayne says there was a “moment” when he considered quitting acting as he did not think he would ever again match his Oscar success.

The 33-year-old star was one of the youngest winners ever when he picked up the coveted trophy for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in ‘The Theory of Everything’ earlier this year and admitted he had a “moment” of debating quitting while he was ahead as he was unsure if he could ever match the success, reported Female First.

“I had a moment of, ‘I might retire tomorrow. I’m never going to do anything again.’ The thought that it happened too early came in for a second. But then I thought, No, I want this.”
