Palak Muchhal opens up about ‘arranged marriage’ with Mithoon and how they discovered they were meant to be: ‘We soon realised that…’

Mentioning that they enjoy doing things together, Palak Muchhal shared that she and her husband Mithoon have found in each other a friendship unlike any they have experienced before.

Not only have playback singer-lyricist Palak Muchhal and composer Mithoon touched the souls of millions with their musical prowess, but they have also won hearts as an adorable couple. Palak recently opened up about their bond as husband and wife, emphasising that it is built on friendship, love and mutual respect. Mentioning that they enjoy doing things together, she also shared that they have found in each other a friendship unlike any they have experienced before.

“Our companionship is the greatest blessing in the world for us. We love travelling, so whenever we get even the smallest window, we take off and explore. We also enjoy trying different (vegetarian) cuisines,” she said during a recent appearance on SCREEN’s The Suvir Saran Show. Palak also mentioned that she enjoys cooking for Mithoon.

Despite being in the same profession, Palak Mucchal emphasised that their careers have never caused discord between them. Revealing that theirs was an arranged marriage of sorts, she said: “But we soon realised that we had to be together; we were made for each other. We are unique in our values and thought processes and we have very clear priorities in life. If you find a partner whose priorities are as clear as yours, it’s a blessing. He has a heart of gold.” The couple tied the knot in 2022.

Palak and Mithoon first collaborated on Aashiqui 2 (2013), where she, along with Arijit Singh, lent her vocals to the song “Meri Aashiqui” which was composed by Mithoon. She later worked with her husband on tracks like “Keh Bhi De”, “Door Na Jaa”, “Yu Tere Hue Hum”, “Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava” and “Bandhan”.
