Alia Bhatt's act was conceptualised keeping in mind her film 2 States. She donned a traditional aquamarine lengha for the first part of the act and a rocker-chic look for the second act. Her act began with an Indo-western jugalbandi which included a medley of her songs Mast magan from 2 States and Main tenu samjhawan ki from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. She then performed to Offo! from 2 States and Patakha guddi from Highway in true rockstar style. After she collected her award, Bhatt shook a leg with SRK (to Wanna mash up from Highway) who followed her steps. By the end of her act, SRK was floored with her moves. While most other stars rehearsed on the MMRDA grounds, Bhatt was among the few performers who did not practise her act on the sets and rehearsed it with Sanjay Shetty’s choreography team in a rehearsal hall.
