Trust music director Sneha Khanwalkar to compose quirky tunes and turn any number into pure fun. In Khoobsurat, Khanwalkar has taken a popular Rajasthani folk song, Anjan ki seeti and turned it into a crazy dance number called Engine ki seeti, where the words mann dole has been twisted to bum dole for added effect. Rajasthani folk beats blend well, with Sunidhi Chauhan’s powerful vocals adding some extra zest. Additional vocals have been provided by Kochi-based singer Resmi Sateesh, who also does a good job. Although the original number has been recreated in various ways, Engine ki… has its own sweet charm and makes for an interesting modern Rajasthani number, which grows on you with repeated hearing.
