Yet another online comedy show hits the digital platform as Saloni Daini, the youngest comedian (of Comedy Circus fame) makes her digital debut with Some Madness with Saloni (SMS) on #fame, Asia’s premier digital entertainment network.
Trending on YouTube, the show’s length is about four to five minutes, in which Saloni takes on varied subjects, mimicking film stars, politicians and celebrities to presenting a funny take on Indian parents and teachers. The show captures the world view of a young teen who is caught between growing up and staying young and her funny take on the world. The comic timing, coupled with the straight-faced, innocent look evokes quite a few laughs. “When #fame approached me with the concept, I liked it. We are going to make many such videos with different topics and they will all be as comic as my stint in Comedy Circus was,” says Saloni, who adds that she improvises on the script that #fames provides to her.
