On the sets of Humshakals director Sajid Khan along with Riteish Deshmukh found a unique way of entertaining everyone by miming legendary actors. Revealed a source close to the production team.
“When, during the long shooting schedules abroad the crew members would feel homesick, Sajid and Riteish used to mimic actors like Rajesh Khanna and Shatrughan Sinha making the team roll in laughter.” Produced by Fox Star Studios and Pooja Entertainment & Films Ltd, Humshakals also stars Saif Ali Khan, Ram Kapoor with BipashaBasu, Tamannaah Bhatia and Esha Gupta.
Humshakals releases on June 20.

Mr X in South Africa

Director Vikram Bhatt and actors Emraan Hashmi and Amyra Dastur left for South Africa for a 25 day schedule of Mr X on April 15. Arunoday Singh who plays the main villain in the film joined them a few days later. Mr X is produced by Vishesh Films and distributed by Fox Star Studios and is slated to release in early 2015.

Mary Kom wraps up

The shooting of Mary Kom which took off in January this year wrapped up last week after shooting spells in Manali, and Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh. Priyanka Chopra plays the protagonist in the film which is a biopic of renowned boxer Mary Kom. Directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is slated to release on October 2.

Jacqueline Fernandez joins Kick in Poland

Last week Jacqueline Fernandez joined Salman Khan and Randeep Hooda in Poland for the shooting of Kick. The 20 day plus shoot in Poland will wrap up by the end of April and will be followed by another schedule in Mumbai.
The film will mark producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s debut as director.
