The romantic number with a desi touch is picturised beautifully on the lead pair — Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, where their chemistry is sizzling like fire (quite literally). The composition, made by music director duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, makes for a melodious rustic number, with simple beats that are easy on the ears. Dhol beats dominate the composition, almost making it sound like a track straight out of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film (especially Saawariya). Shreya Ghoshal croons this number with great ease and beauty. Arijit Singh as the supporting male vocalist does a decent job. We love how lyricist Irshad Kamil’s words strike a chord and blend perfectly with the composition. The words used are simple, catchy and sounds a lot like the stuff you would usually hear in a 70’s film. Listen to Manwa laage (or watch it with the video where Khan flaunts his 10 pack abs) and it won’t disappoint you.
