Ajith Kumar‘s Good Bad Ugly has suffered a minor setback in its streaming life on Netflix, after the movie was removed from the platform recently. According to Hindustan Times, the Adhik Ravichandran-directed gangster epic has been missing on Netflix India since the September 17. The film’s removal from the streaming platform has been the result of a court order that barred the filmmakers from using three songs composed by Illayaraja, which were not licensed from the composer beforehand.

According to Hindustan Times, Good Bad Ugly producers were asked by Justice N Senthilkumar earlier this month to remove the concerned Illayaraja songs from the movie to continue it’s streaming run. This is what seems to have led Netflix to temporarily pulling the film from its streaming platform for now. There has been no official confirmation from Netflix regarding the recent removal of the film.
