Rajinikanth health update: Hospital authorities say Rajinikanth will be ‘home in two days’

Rajinikanth health update: News about Rajinikanth’s health made headlines all over the country today, and everyone was waiting with bated breath for any kind of update about the Superstar’s health. Rajinikanth was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, and underwent a planned procedure earlier today. On Tuesday evening, the hospital authorities shared an official statement about the health status of the Superstar and explained the planned procedure.

The statement from the hospital, signed by Dr RK Venkatasalam, the director of Medical Services, read, “Mr Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospitals, Greams Road, on 30th September 2024. He had a swelling in the main blood vessel leaving his heart (Aorta), which was treated by a non-surgical, transcatheter method. Senior Interventional Cardiologist Dr Sai Sathish placed a stent in the aorta completely sealing off the swelling (Endovascular Repair). We would like to let his well-wishers and fans know that the procedure went, as planned.” The statement also mentioned the update everyone was waiting for: “Mr Rajinikanth is stable, and is doing well. He should be home in two days.”
