Actor Shoaib Ibrahim will soon be seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 that’s set to launch on Sony TV next month. Shoaib, who is also an active YouTuber, had recently hinted at signing a new project in one of his vlogs.

A source close to the show shared with indianexpress.com that Shoaib recently signed the contract and is one of the first confirmed contestants this season. Apart from him, Urvashi Dholakia has also signed the dotted lines. “Karuna Pandey, who plays the lead role in Pushpa Impossible, has also been confirmed. Discussions are under way with a few other celebrities, and in a few days, we would be able to share a list,” they added.

As already reported by us, Neil Bhatt, Shivangi Joshi and Sumbul Touqeer will most likely join the show. We had also exclusively reported about Farah Khan and Malaika Arora being roped in as judges of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.

Shoaib Ibrahim and Urvashi Dholakia have earlier participated in Nach Baliye, albeit in different seasons. While Shoaib was on the eighth season with Dipika Kakar, Urvashi Dholakia was one of the contestants on season 9, participating with former boyfriend Anuj Sachdev.

In his latest vlog, Shoaib spoke about getting busy soon with a new project. As he spoke about being excited and nervous about it, his wife Dipika pitched in that he has waited for a long time to do the show. Dipika herself has been a contestant on the show in the past when she was doing Sasural Simar Ka. The couple welcomed their son in June.

The Indian version of BBC’s Dancing with the Stars, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa launched in 2006 and moved to Colors in the year 2012. After 10 years, it would be now back on Sony, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a ‘grand’ comeback.
