Jai Lava Kusa box office collection day 2: Jr NTR starrer continues to perform well

Tollywood star Jr NTR's Jai Lava Kusa continues to perform well at the box office. It is set to become the fourth box office blockbuster of Jr NTR in a row. Overjoyed by the reception of his film at the box office, Jr NTR took to Twitter to share his happiness and thank his fans.

Tollywood star Jr NTR’s latest release Jai Lava Kusa continued to hold well at the box office on Friday. The film has grossed Rs 30 crore on its first day in the Telugu states alone. With no major rival at the box office, the film continues to be the top choice for moviegoers down south.

The film’s official two-day worldwide box office collection is pegged at Rs 60 crore. The much-awaited family drama, starring Jr NTR in three different roles, released amid huge expectations and managed a gross of Rs 30 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its opening day on Thursday. Of which Rs 21.54 crore was calculated as distributors’ share. On the second day, the film has added Rs 6.2 crore more to distributors’ profit.

Jai Lava Kusa is also doing well in the United States, where the film has grossed $1 million mark (approximately Rs 6.3 crore) at the box office. This is Jr NTR’s fifth film to join the million dollar club.

Jai Lava Kusa is set to become the fourth box office blockbuster of Jr NTR in a row. Overjoyed by the reception of his film at the box office, Jr NTR tweeted, “All this love for #JaiLavaKusa is deeply satisfying. As an actor, can’t ask for anything better. A big thank you from team JLK to everyone.”

While the film has received a mixed response, critics and fans have unanimously given big thumbs up for Jr NTR’s performance. For the first time in his career, he has played a triple role in a film.

The film is directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby and stars Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas as female leads.
