The star, famed for her portrayal in the hit streaming series, took to Instagram on June 1, the start of Pride Month, to share her heartfelt revelation, affirming her affection for a woman. In a colourful carousel post, she paid homage to the LGBTQIA+ community, intertwining images of pride marches and vibrant artwork. Amidst these visuals, she also offered a glimpse into her joy with a candid selfie, bedecked in rainbow rhinestones and a bucket hat emblazoned with the words “Love Supreme.” Madsen captioned the post, “In love with a woman, loud about it and proud about it.” Her hashtags echoed the sentiment of inclusivity and love, adorned with #pride, #pridemonth, #loveislove, and #gaypride.

In June 2023, she boldly addressed her bisexuality on Instagram, dispelling misconceptions with the message, “Bisexuals are not ‘confused'”. Her caption, “Bi the way….
