The show chronicles the story of Abdul Karim Telgi, the man believed to be behind the stamp paper scam worth Rs 30,000 crore. The show is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. It has been adapted from the Hindi book Reporter ki Diary, authored by journalist Sanjay Singh, who broke the scam back in the time. The Freelancer: Disney Plus Hotstar Streaming on: September 1 Helmed by A Wednesday and Special Ops fame Neeraj Pandey, The Freelancer is the story of Avinash Kamath (Mohit Raina) who goes to rescue a young girl Alia Khan (Kashmira Pardeshi) who is being held captive in Syria. Anupam Kher plays Dr Khan, Avinash's mentor. The show is based on Shirish Thorat's book, A Ticket to Syria. Love Again: Netflix Streaming on: September 2 Priyanka Chopra Jonas' last Hollywood outing, Love Again will stream on Netflix on September 2. Also starring Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, the movie follows the story of a grieving woman named Mira (Priyanka Chopra), who finds a special connection by sheer accident after she sends text messages to her late fiance’s number, unaware that it has been assigned to a man named Rob (Heughan). He’s moved by the emotion of her texts and later takes Dion’s help to meet Mira in person. There’s a cameo from Chopra’s husband, singer Nick Jonas as well. The film received a rating of 19% on Rotten Tomatoes and tanked at the box office upon its release in the theatres. Haddi: ZEE5 Streaming on: September 7 Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Resh Lamba, Ila Arun, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub, Shriidhar Dubey, and Anurag Kashyap, among others, Haddi is a revenge story of a transgender woman. Siddiqui's character Haddi comes from Allahabad to Delhi to join a gang of transgenders. They reach the top of the criminal food chain to avenge their family who was wronged by a mighty powerful gangster-turned-politician. The Morning Show Season 3: Apple TV+ Streaming on: September 13 The third season of The Morning Show will have Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup's characters facing the aftermath of a cyber attack on the network. Actor Jon Hamm, who has joined the show this season, plays tech billionaire Paul Marks. He comes to the rescue and offers money to save the crumbling network. But how his entry affects the ecosystem of the UBA newsroom makes for the premise of the third season. Bambai Meri Jaan: Prime Video Streaming on: September 14 The 10-part crime drama stars Kay Kay Menon and Avinash Tiwary in lead roles. Kaala: Disney Plus Hotstar Streaming on: September 15 Shaitan and David fame Bejoy Nambiar takes a deep dive into the world of crime and power in Disney Plus Hotstar's upcoming series Kaala. As per a press statement, the show follows the story of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer and a game of power in the murky world of Kaala. The show is backed by an ensemble cast including actors Avinash Tiwary, Rohan Vinod Mehra, Nivetha Pethuraj, Taher Shabbir and Hiten Tejwani. Sex Education 4: Netflix Streaming on: September 21 The finale season of Netflix's Sex Education will premiere on September 21. The third season of the show concluded with Otis and Ruby breaking up and Otis' mother's pregnancy announcement. Jaane Jaan: Netflix Streaming on: September 21 Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh's crime thriller Jaane Jaan. The film is an adaptation of the book ‘Devotion of Suspect X’ by Japanese author Keigo Higashino. It also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.
