The film’s cast featuring Auliʻi Cravalho Dwayne Johnson emerged as one of the highest grossing movies of 2024 notwithstanding the mix reviews it received.

The Electric State

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo (Avengers: Endgame, The Gray Man) from a script by Chris Markus and Stephen McFeely, The Electric State follows a young woman (played by Millie Bobby Brown) who embarks on a perilous journey across the American West, accompanied by a mysterious toy robot and a roguish smuggler (Chris Pratt). Along the way, they have to navigate an electrified, retro-futuristic US landscape.

The Anil Sharma-directed movie revolves around a father who has been abandoned by his sons in Varanasi. Dementia-stricken Deepak (Nana Patekar) believes his children are lost and sets out to find them. Along the way, he meets Veeru (Utkarsh Sharma), a thief who assumes Deepak is an easy target. Eventually, Deepak’s innocence stirs something deep within Veeru. The movie, which received mixed reviews, will be available to stream from March 14.

In Gladiator II, which follows years after the death of Maximus, Lucius is forced into the Colosseum after tyrannical twin Roman Emperors conquer his home. With the future of the Empire at stake, he must find strength and honor to return the glory of Rome to its people. The film’s cast features Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, and Denzel Washington. The action-drama is directed and produced by Ridley Scott.

The film unfolds in a sunlit Greek villa, when a musician begins playing on his piano, igniting the imagination of the woman he is there with.
