Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile after his betrayal, and Quynh (Veronica Van, formerly Veronica Ngô) out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize everything she’s worked towards for thousands of years. Directed by Victoria Mahoney, and also starring Uma Thurman, The Old Guard 2 promises to be an emotional, adrenaline-pumping sequel, based on the world created by Greg Rucka and illustrator Leandro Fernandez.

When Mariska Hargitay was three years old, her mother, Hollywood icon Jayne Mansfield, tragically died in a car accident at the age of 34. The film follows Mariska as she seeks to know, understand, and embrace her mother for the first time. Through intimate interviews and a collection of never-before-seen photos and home movies, she grapples with her mother’s public and private legacy and discovers the layers and depth of who Jayne was, not only to her audience but to those who were closest to her. The film premiered in the Cannes Classics section of the 78th Cannes Film Festival this year in May and was screened at the Tribeca Festival later.

Sent by her queen to retrieve a powerful relic, Alys must weigh magic against humanity in a world where nothing is as it seems. With shapeshifting creatures, ancient rites, and high-stakes battles, this is fantasy with its claws out. The action fantasy is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and Constantin Werner wrote its screenplay.

The Tamil-language gangster drama brought together Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam for a project after 36 years since they made Nayakan (1987). ‘Thug Life’ boasts of a star-studded cast including Trisha Krishnan, Silambarasan TR, Haasan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Joju George, Nassar, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ali Fazal. The film follows gang leader Rangaraaya Sakthivel (Kamal Haasan), a feared mafia kingpin in New Delhi, who adopts Amaran (Silambarasan) after a gang war, but years later, a survival from assassination sparks doubt. Soon, Sakthivel suspects Amaran, igniting a conflict of loyalty and revenge.

Through Kaalidhar (Abhishek Bachchan) and Ballu’s journey, the film reminds us that sometimes, healing doesn’t come from fixing what’s broken, but from embracing the imperfection and choosing to live fully anyway.
