CBI files charge sheet against Yadav Singh in disproportionate assets case

The assets acquired by Yadav Singh during this period were allegedly 512 per cent over and above his known source of income, CBI spokesperson said.

The CBI today filed a charge sheet against former Noida Authority engineer Yadav Singh for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets (DA) worth Rs 23 crore. The charge sheet was filed against Singh and his family members in a special court in Ghaziabad, CBI spokesperson Abhishek Dayal said.

His wife Kusumlata, daughters Garima Bhushan and

Karuna Singh, son Sunny Singh, daughter-in-law Shreshtha Singh, and chartered accountant Mohan Lal Rathi have also been booked in the case. Three companies and a trust are also named in the case.

The CBI spokesperson said these assets were allegedly acquired between 2004 and 2015. The assets acquired by him during this period were allegedly 512 per cent over and above his known source of income, he said. The agency said it had registered the case on July 30, 2015.
