Rape victim dies in hospital after suicide bid

Traumatised by the incident,the girl tried to commit suicide by setting herself ablaze the next day.

She had received critical burn injuries and was hospitalised at SMS hospital here,where she died yesterday,police said.

The body was handed over to her family members after the postmortem.

The accused identified as Bunty was arrested soon after the incident and presently is under judicial custody in Karauli,they added.
