Saurashtra University to host summer camp for science students

The Department of Pharmaceutical Science at Saurashtra University (SU) will host a summer camp from May 3 for the students of std XI and std XII to educate them about recent researches in the field of science,a university official said.

Nearly 200 students from across the state have been selected for participation in the five-day long camp wherein at least 30 scientists from country’s leading research centres and laboratories including the DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) and IIT -Delhi,will be taking part.

This initiative of the university is supported by the ministry of Science and Technology,Dr Navin Sheth,head of department of Pharmaceutical Science at Saurashtra University said.
