With exam dates of both AIEEE and AFMC MBBS scheduled for the same date on May 1 across the country,the respective boards conducting them have decided to hold the tests at separate timings on that day,giving reprieve to candidates appearing for both.
While AIEEE is conducted by CBSE,AFMC entrance test is conducted by Armed Forces Medical Services.
According to a CBSE statement,both have mutually agreed that AIEEE would be conducted on May 1 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and AFMC MBBS on the same day from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
If a candidate is alloted an examination centre for AIEEE and AFMC at different cities,CBSE will consider to change the centre of such candidates where AFMC examination centre has been allotted,the statement said.
This is subject to availability of seats and fixation of AIEEE examination centre in that city on production of AFMC entrance examination card.
However,this would be at the sole discretion of CBSE,the statement added.
