‘Make San Finance Corp accused in Adarsh case’

A public interest litigant before the Bombay High Court in the Adarsh case has now made a fresh demand to make San Finance Corporation,which is said to have financed the flats for several members of the society,an accused in the case.

A public interest litigant before the Bombay High Court in the Adarsh case has now made a fresh demand to make San Finance Corporation,which is said to have financed the flats for several members of the society,an accused in the case.

The company is run by BJP MP Abhay Sancheti and his brother Paramveer Sancheti.

Paramveer Sancheti is a member of the society,as also Suresh Atram,a peon with the company. Atram hails from Chandrapur and earns Rs 9,000 a month. Sudhakar Madke,a driver with the company,is also a member of the society.

According to information collected by the activist Pravin Wategaonkar from the Central Bureau of Investigation,several pairs of flats financed by the company are adjoining each other.

Wategaonkar,in his PIL before the High Court,has demanded the invocation of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA),2005 in the Adarsh case.
