Five persons from each side were admitted in Civil Hospital in Moga. One person from SAD was reportedly seriously hurt and could be shifted to Ludhiana.

Gurbaksh Singh, sub inspector,Dharamkot, said,“We have registered a case against both sides. Fifteen people have been booked. No arrest has been made so far. It is yet to be confirmed who fired the gunshots,” said Singh.

Kuldeep Dhose claimed his son was innocent. “In our village, the SAD sarpanch is harassing villagers. Last night, too, the sarpanch, his brother and nephew damaged water pipes in some homes that did not vote for SAD. Those people decided to protest and one of them was abducted. The victim’s mother called up my son and asked for help. Only then he went to help and was injured by SAD supporters. He is innocent.”
