After Pranab ‘bugged’ @work,intel ‘finds’ same in Antony home?

A bugging scare was triggered in Defence Minister A K Antony’s home last month after a scan by the Military Intelligence detected ‘abnormal signals’ emanating from his phone set.

The Intelligence Bureau was called in to analyse the signals but they were found to be stray and not due to any possible bugging. Sources said no bugs were found in his home.

Two Army personnel manning the minister’s phones noticed these signals on February 16,following which Defence Secretary Shashikant Sharma took up the matter with the Intelligence Bureau.
