Arvind Kejriwal, who has been attacking major political leaders for using chartered aircraft of corporates, today created flutter by traveling in such an aircraft from Jaipur to Delhi this evening.

As his rivals questioned his double standards, Kejriwal said a media group arranged for the aircraft as they wanted him to attend their conclave.

“As no other plane was available, I took the chartered plane. India Today group has invited me. They bore the cost of the chartered plane,” the former Delhi Chief Minister said.

BJP’s Smriti Irani attacked Kejriwal saying he was “hypocritical” as he claims to be against VIP culture but does not follow what he preaches.

“He has not even vacated the house he was allotted after becoming Chief Minister of Delhi,” she said.

Later, Kejriwal tweeted, “Reached India Today conclave from Jaipur. Since there was no regular flight, India Today
group hired a charter to reach me in delhi on time…India today has paid for it.”

I would urge (Narendra) Modi ji and Rahul Gandhiji also to disclose whose planes are they using and who pays for them, Kejriwal said in his next tweet.
