The bodies of nine Indian workers, who were killed in a road accident in Dubai, will be sent back home in the next few days, Indian Consulate officials in Dubai said.
A spokesperson from the consulate said all facilities for the repatriation and compensation of the affected families would be provided. The nine Indian workers were among 13 killed when the bus they were travelling in rammed into a parked truck and flipped over on the busy Emirates road on Saturday.
All the nine —Devendra Kumar Yadav, Kamlesh Kumar Singh, Shatrughan Kumar Singh, Kokil Choudhary, Krishan Shah, Dharmendra Singh, Vijay Gupta, Siraj Ansari, and Sanjay Ramchand — were from Bihar.
A Dubai health authority spokesperson Sunday said that 10 patients were admitted to a hospital on Saturday, six of whom were discharged the same day.
Meanwhile, the company which owns the bus (Holland Technical Contracting Services) has assured that all the workers will be compensated.
